It poured all night again and all day today, and is still pouring tonight. After driving to numerous resorts today to attempt to find a snow line that was in view and in the trees, we gave up and started eating. I completed my quad-fecta of the traditional cheese dishes of the Haute Savoie region of France with the Berthoud, another type of cheese, served hot with potatoes, meat and bread to dip in it. Along with the tartiflette, Fondue and Raclette this dish fits right in with the rest of the local cuisine.
You know you are in for a spectacular dining experience at a French countryside restaurant called La Ferme (The Farm). Especially with a hand written wine list and spectacular menu presentation.
