The clouds finally cleared, with colder temps, fresh snow and high winds, more interesting skiiing in La Clusaz. It is so refreshing to ski somewhere with less of a continental snowpack, the things you can get away with… Skiing past “Slope closed, high avalanche danger” signs and ducking under ropes in front of everybody right at the top of the chair is getting all too comfortable.
